Look What We Found

So, Shannon has this big bag of change that he hid in the garage...then forgot about until last weekend when he was cleaning the garage. He brought it inside to count and that was when my creative daughter...Tory...decided to make a pyramid out of all the nickels ;o). She was all...Holy Cow what's this...and gave it to Shannon who identified it as an Indian Head nickel.According to Wikipedia, only one in 25,000 nickels in circulation today is an Indian Head nickel. We don't know how old it is being the date is completely wore off.
Kaitlyn and Kristin also found 1953 & 1956 Wheat pennies.

I was just strolling down your blog today and saw this post. My son used to collect buffalo nickels. That was a lucky find, I love finding old coins in change.
