When we were vacationing in Blue Ridge I saw this cool cornershelf that they were selling for $145.00...I thought to myself, "I could do something like this." 
A few weeks after our vacation we were at our local Goodwill store and found...for $6.99... some shutter panels. They were too long for me to use so my handyman husband cut them in half...now I can have TWO shelves...yea me!
Shannon bought a board and cut to size...
He then put it together with his early Father's Day gift...a De Walt drill...which I had NO ulterior motives in getting it for him ;o) .
Now all I have to do is paint it, put brackets on the back, and figure out what I'm going to put on it.
